High-performance, electrometer calibration standard for use with the Keithley 6517 and other electrometers.

The SCR-5156-IET contains 4 resistors and 2 capacitors, with appropriate uncertainties, as recommended in the Keithley 6517 Service Manual for current and coulombs verification.

Below is the equipment required for verification from the Keithley 6517B Manual.

Equipment needed for verification

• Fluke 5700A calibrator with user documentation
• Keithley Model 2002 Digital Multimeter
• Thermocouple calibrator

Precision resistors with a value known to the listed uncertainty:

• 100 GΩ, 850 ppm
• 10 GΩ, 550 ppm
• 1 GΩ, 550 ppm
• 100 MΩ, 250 ppm
Uncalibrated precision resistors:

• 10 MΩ
• 1 MΩ
• 10 KΩ
• 1 KΩ
• 10 Ω
• 1 Ω

Precision capacitors with a value known to the listed uncertainty:

• 1 nF, 1000 ppm
• 100 nF, 1000 ppm
• Triaxial shielding cap

The Keithley Certificate of Calibration also uses a 1 TΩ and 10 TΩ precision resistors which are available from IET in the SRC product line of high resistance standards.

The metal housing provides shielding from noise and a shorting link is provided to connect guard and ground when required.

The output of the SCR-5156-IET is a triaxial connector for direct connection to the Keithley 6517.

There are 6 bnc connectors for each of the internal standards.

The calibrated value of each standard is located on the front panel.
