The IET HPRS-Hipot-Load is an excellent replacement for the Fluke 5320A-Load Hipot current calibration load resistors. Various versions available: HPRS-HIPOT-QuadTech G1030 HPRS-HIPOT-Associated Research HPRS-HIPOT-Phillips-2kV The IET high power resistive load can be used with the Fluke 5320A Multifunction Electrical Tester Calibrator or standalone. It provides a high power and high voltage load to various hipot tester to create the leakage current needed to calibrate various manufactures hipot testers.

The HPRS-HIPOT-LOAD consist of a series of 8 resistances from 10 kΩ to 5 MΩ. The resistances are in series between the Lo and the 5 MΩ terminals with taps connected to the other resistance values.

The 8 resistance values were chosen to mimic the Fluke 5320A-load. IET can build the HPRS Hipot Load with a range of resistance values, accuracies, power ratings and maximum voltage depending upon your requirement.

Typical Application: The hipot tester is connected to the various calibration load resistors during the calibration process. The voltage across the load and the current flowing through the load can then be measured. The measured voltage and current can then be compared with the displayed value from the hipot tester during calibration or as part of the adjustment procedure.
